A total of 8,695 passengers were stranded after the cancellation of more than 100 domestic flights due to tropical storm "Crising", the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) reported on Saturday, July 19.
As of Saturday, 12 more domestic flights were cancelled.
The CAAP advised all affected travelers to directly coordinate with their respective airlines for the latest flight status and assistance regarding rebooking or refund options.
The agency said it maintains close coordination with airline operators and airport authorities to monitor developments and ensure the safety and convenience of the flying public.
