Filipino rock band Lola Amour teamed up with Kokoro Kohatsu, a member of Japanese boy group Psychic Fever from Exile Tribe, for the new single “The Moment (with Kokoro).”
“The Moment (with Kokoro)” was released on July 18 on all major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music.
Following the massive success of their breakout hit “Raining in Manila” which has now surpassed 220 million streams in the Philippines alone, Lola Amour returned with a new cross-border collaboration.
Blending their signature alt-pop rock sound with Kokoro’s smooth, soulful vocals, “The Moment (with Kokoro)” delivers a heartfelt take on the rush of falling in love and the sweet anticipation of knowing those feelings might be returned.
The collaboration started when Lola Amour shared an Instagram Story reacting to Psychic Fever’s “Gelato” music video.
The two groups began interacting online, covering each other’s songs and drawing responses from fans. Their mutual admiration, combined with high demand from their audiences, led to this much-anticipated release.
“The Moment (with Kokoro)” not only celebrates friendship and connection but also reflects the growing synergy between Filipino and Japanese music scenes.
