Klea Pineda confirms breakup with Katrice Kierulf: 'No one cheated'

Klea Pineda has officially confirmed her breakup with girlfriend Katrice Kierulf.
In a candid interview on “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” Klea addressed the issue following speculations about the same on social media.
“Yes, Tito Boy,” she said. “May kaniya-kaniya na kaming priorities. Mutual decision ‘yung nangyari. Gusto niya unahin ang sarili niya. Gusto ko rin piliin ang sarili ko this time.”
While many admired their three-year relationship, Klea revealed that behind the scenes, they reached a point where they felt they were no longer growing as a couple.
“Na-realize na namin na hindi na kami nakakatulong sa isa’t isa—parang pinupull down na lang namin ang isa’t isa. Umabot kami sa ganung point,” she shared.
Despite the emotional weight of the breakup, Klea said they handled the situation with mutual respect.
“Okay ‘yung dynamics namin. Kabisado ko siya, kabisado niya ako. Sobrang ganda ng relationship namin, pero may mga aspects lang talaga sa buhay na kailangan naming piliin ang sarili namin.”
Klea also addressed rumors of cheating, which had circulated due to vague TikTok posts.
She was quick to clarify: “No, Tito Boy. Sobrang proud akong sabihin ‘yun. Hindi ko kayang gawin ‘yun kay Kat. Masyado ko siyang mahal.”
She also defended Katrice from similar speculation: “Knowing Kat, hindi niya kayang gawin ‘yon kahit kanino.”
On Instagram, Klea reflected on their time together with a heartfelt message: “She was my companion in sorrow… the person who loved me during the times when I couldn’t love myself. She was my inspiration and strength in the battles of life.”
While their romance has ended, Klea could only express love and gratitude for it all. “Three years full of love. I don’t know if I’m lucky because I met you… or unlucky because you were given to me for such a limited time.”
To Katrice, she added: “Always remember that I’m still here to support you no matter what.”
