Caloocan, Malabon, Valenzuela suspend classes due to TS Crising

The local governments of Caloocan, Malabon, and Valenzuela suspended all classes on Saturday, July 19, due to heavy rains brought by Tropical Storm Crising.

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) earlier raised an Orange Rainfall Warning over Metro Manila, warning of possible flooding in low-lying areas and communities near rivers or canals.
In Caloocan, Mayor Dale Gonzalo "Along" Malapitan ordered the suspension of all classes, from preschool to college, in both public and private schools.
The city government also reminded residents to stay safe and call their 24/7 emergency hotlines at (02) 888-25664 or 0908-81-25664 if assistance is needed.
The Valenzuela local government unit also canceled both online and face-to-face classes from kindergarten to college due to the rains and the intensified southwest monsoon (Habagat).
The Malabon LGU likewise announced the suspension of classes and urged residents to stay alert and take precautions.
