Boracay named world's 10th best beach by UK travel site

KALIBO, Aklan – A travel website in the United Kingdom named world-famous Boracay Island as the 10th best beach in the world in 2025.

“Boracay Island in the Philippines is known for its gorgeous beaches, but none are more beautiful than White Beach, which is found on the southwest coast of the island,” said the Big 7 Travel blog under the Enjoy Travel website.

“The main characteristic of this beach is the powdery-white sand, which is so easy to walk on, and combined with the classic island backdrop of palm trees and light jungle, there are few beaches that rival White Beach as one of the best in the world,” Big 7 Travel said.

“Thanks to its location on Boracay Island, the sunsets from White Beach are some of the best in the country, too,” Big 7 Travel added.

White Beach is the only Philippine beach destination included in this year’s list of Big 7.

This is the third time this year that White Beach was included in an international travel list.

Last February, White Beach was named by Travel + Leisure magazine as one of the 15 best beaches in the world.

TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, included White Beach as among the 10 best beaches in the country.
