Billboard, utility post collapse in QC

A billboard and a utility post collapsed in Quezon City, hitting three vehicles on Saturday, July 19, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said.
According to the agency, the electric post fell along the northbound lane of C5 Katipunan-Ateneo, hitting a multipurpose vehicle (MPV) and prompting the lane's closure.
Motorists were advised to take alternate routes to reach their destinations.
Meanwhile, a billboard along the southbound lane of the same avenue also collapsed, hitting two vehicles and bringing traffic to a standstill.
The incident prompted the MMDA to close one of the lanes in the southbound direction to allow for clearing operations.
No one was reported hurt in both incidents.
