Fire razes 10 houses in Taguig

A fire razed 10 houses and affected 25 families in Barangay Ususan, Taguig on July 17.
The incident happened at 0434 Block 1 in Sitio Pusawan in the barangay, the Taguig City Fire Station reported.
Firefighters raised the first alarm at 1:04 p.m. before the blaze was put under control at 1:42 p.m. and put out at 3:01 p.m.
The fire damaged P300,000 worth of properties and affected 94 individuals. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
A total of 10 fire trucks, 36 water tanks from volunteer groups and local government units, a rescue truck and three ambulances responded to the incident.
Taguig Mayor Lani Cayetano visited the affected families at an evacuation center.
