Filinvest Land, Inc. (FLI) has recently won the bid for the lease of office space for the new headquarters of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
DICT’s new headquarters will span approximately 8,120 square meters across four floors of FLI’s Studio 7, which is set to accommodate approximately 1,350 employees. The DICT will occupy the topmost 19th to 22nd floors of the building, and is also provided 90 parking slots for 4-wheeled vehicles and 40 parking slots for 2-wheeled vehicles for the benefit of its employees and visitors.
The relocation, targeted for Q4 2025, marks a significant upgrade from the agency’s longtime home in Diliman, aligning with its mission to modernize public service while enhancing accessibility and operational efficiency.
This development reinforces FLI’s pivot toward government offices as stable, long-term tenants amid evolving space requirements in the BPO sector. As some outsourcing firms recalibrate their real estate strategies, FLI is proactively expanding its tenant mix—positioning government institutions as viable, future-ready anchors for its office portfolio, while doing its part in nation-building.
The DICT lease at Studio 7 is a testament to the building’s strong value proposition. Located along EDSA near MRT-3 GMA-Kamuning Station, Studio 7 offers unmatched commuter convenience, giving employees and clients direct access to mass transport and public services. The LEED Silver-certified 18-storey tower is built for both performance and wellness—featuring energy-efficient systems, modern infrastructure, and a vibrant mix of retail, dining, and wellness amenities that support a more productive and fulfilling work environment.
“FLI is proud to welcome DICT to Studio 7. This win validates our strategic direction to diversify our leasing portfolio and support government modernization,” said Tristan Las Marias, president and CEO of Filinvest Land, Inc. “Government agencies are looking for modern, accessible, and sustainable workspaces—and that’s exactly what we’re delivering.”
In addition to its office component, Studio 7 also features an 17-storey residential tower that caters to urban dwellers seeking a dynamic and connected lifestyle. With smartly designed studio to one-bedroom units, residents enjoy access to well-appointed amenities including an outdoor fitness station, swimming pool, landscaped areas, a yoga garden, alfresco lounges and retail options within the development—creating a complete live-work-play community in the heart of Quezon City.
DICT joins a growing list of national agencies choosing Filinvest Land as their real estate partner. In recent years, FLI was tapped by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) for its office rationalization and consolidation at the Filinvest Buendia building, and by the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) for the relocation of its central office to a safer, flood-free site in Pasay, also under the FLI portfolio.
“These partnerships are more than just lease deals—they are evidence that our developments meet the stringent and evolving standards of government workspaces, while delivering real value to the people who use them every day,” Las Marias added.
With these, Filinvest Land is solidifying its position as a trusted partner in public sector transformation—providing purpose-built office spaces that promote productivity, accessibility, and long-term sustainability.
