Student shot dead in Calamba City

CALAMBA CITY, Laguna – A 17-year-old student was gunned down in Purok 7, Barangay Parian, this city, on Thursday, July 17.
Police identified the victim as JP.
Investigation said the victim was walking when two men onboard a motorcycle appeared and shot him.
JP died on the spot from multiple bullet wounds.
One suspect was wearing a T-shirt, cap, and six-pocket shorts. The other suspect was clad in a T-shirt, baseball cap, and shorts.
The suspects fled toward the direction of Barangay Uno.
Police are checking surveillance footages and conducting follow-up investigation.
