P800,000 worth of shabu seized in QC buy-bust

Operatives from the Quezon City Police District (QCPD) seized P816,000 worth of shabu from a suspected drug dealer during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Kamuning, Quezon City.

The suspect was identified as alias Gilbert, 46, a resident of Barangay Sto. Niño, Quezon City.

Police said the entrapment operation took place at around 3:40 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, on 4th Street in Barangay Kamuning. 

The suspect was apprehended after selling P5,500 worth of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer.

Recovered from the suspect were 120 grams of shabu, two cellular phones, a black pouch, and the buy-bust money. 

Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being prepared against the suspect.
