Police confiscated P1.02 million worth of shabu and arrested two suspects in a buy-bust operation in Taguig on July 16.
The District Drug Enforcement Unit of the Southern Police District conducted the operation in Barangay New Lower Bicutan.
The police identified the suspects as Tol, 52, and Melissa, 41, residents of Barangay Ususan, Taguig.
The SPD conducted the operation at the back of a fast food chain in De Guzman Compound on MLQ Street in Purok 1.
Authorities seized three plastic sachets containing 150 grams of shabu, a genuine P1,000 bill used as buy-bust money, 49 pieces of P1,000 boodle money, and a car. All seized drug items will undergo laboratory examination at the SPD Forensic Unit.
The police will file a complaint against the two suspects for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) with the Taguig City Prosecutor’s Office.
