Navotas City, Valenzuela Medical Center hold mass blood donation drive

The Navotas City government, in partnership with Valenzuela Medical Center, conducted a mass blood donation drive as part of the National Voluntary Blood Services Program on Thursday, July 17.

The City Health Office led in promoting voluntary blood donation to help ensure a sufficient and safe supply of blood in local blood banks.
It also aims to raise public awareness about the importance and health benefits of donating blood regularly.
Residents participated in the bloodletting activity held at the Navotas City Hall lobby.
The city government has also scheduled upcoming blood donation drives at the following locations:
Barangay Tanza 2 - Aug. 8
San Jose Academy - Aug. 14
Barangay Tanza 1- Aug. 19
Bangkulasi Elementary School - Aug. 31
The local government encourages healthy individuals to take part in the campaign and help save lives through this simple yet life-saving act of generosity.
