Mayor Olivarez: No vacuum, no service gaps during transition
Parañaque City Mayor Edwin Olivarez assured his constituents of continuous services and job security during the administration’s transition, emphasizing that there will be “no vacuum in all services” that the city government provides.
Olivarez made the announcement last Monday, July 14, during the conduct of a regular flag-raising ceremony held at the Parañaque City Hall quadrangle.

The mayor said he coordinated with the City Human Resources Office (HRO) to ensure continuity for co-terminus workers, smooth transition for contractual personnel, and operational efficiency across all departments.
"Renewed po sila ng 30 days para hindi magkaroon ng vacuum habang hinihintay natin 'yung plantilya hanggang December... para makapag-pasa ng maayos at makasweldo on-time ang lahat ng ating kawani," (They were renewed for 30 days while waiting for the plantilla up to December for them to receive their salary on time), Olivarez said, referring to job order and contract of service employees.
The mayor vowed to sustain and improve programs started by former Mayor Eric Olivarez: "It's not a different administration. Continuity ito, na magkakaroon lang tayo ng innovation at improvement sa services para sa lahat ng constituents."(It is continuity for innovation and improvement in services for the constituents.)
