“Crising” left the Philippine Area of Responsibility around 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 19, PAGASA reported.
As of 4 p.m., the storm was 345 kilometers west of Itbayat, Batanes, with maximum sustained winds of 100 kilometers per hour and gusts of up to 125 kph. It was moving west northwest at 20 kph.
Though Crising is now outside PAR, PAGASA warned that the southwest monsoon it enhanced will continue to trigger strong winds and rough seas over several parts of the country, particularly in coastal and elevated areas.

"Crising" becomes a Severe Tropical Storm and exited the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Saturday, July 19.
However, PAGASA said it will continue to enhance the Southwest Monsoon (habagat), causing heavy rains, strong winds, and hazardous sea conditions across the Philippines.
As of 10 a.m., "Crising" was located 235 km west of Itbayat, Batanes, with winds of 100 km/h and gusts up to 125 km/h, and is expected to intensify into a typhoon by Sunday, July 20, en route to southern China.
5 a.m., July 19
"Crising" is moving away from Northern Luzon and may leave the Philippine Area of Responsibility this morning or early afternoon, PAGASA said.
The storm is expected to strengthen and could reach severe tropical storm level within the day.
"Crising" was located west northwest of Calayan, Cagayan, with maximum sustained winds of 85 kilometers per hour (kph) and gusts of up to 115 kph. It is moving toward southern China at 15 kph.

Tropical storm “Crising” (international name “Wipha”) was already over the coastal waters of Calayan, Cagayan as of late Friday evening, July 18, and is no longer expected to make landfall over Babuyan Islands, PAGASA said.
Crising was moving northwestward at 15 kph, while packing maximum sustained winds of 75 kph near the center and gusts of up to 105 kph.
The storm is forecast to continue moving west-northwestward, cross extreme Northern Luzon, then exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Saturday morning, July 19.
8 p.m., July 18
Crising was located over the coastal waters of Calayan, Cagayan, moving north-northwestward at 20 kph.
PAGASA said Crising will continue moving west-northwestward over the next 12 hours and is expected to make landfall or pass near the Babuyan Islands in the next few hours.
5 p.m., July 18
The center of Crising was located 135 kilometers east of Aparri, Cagayan, and was moving west-northwestward at 20 kph.
The storm is still expected to make landfall over the northeastern portion of mainland Cagayan or Babuyan Islands this evening.

PAGASA located the center of tropical storm Crising at 135 kilometers east-northeast of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
It was moving north-northwestward at 25 kph.
11 a.m., July 18
Crising continues to intensify as it moves west-northwestward and may reach Severe Tropical Storm category before exiting the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) by Saturday, July 19.
As of 10 a.m. Friday, July 18, its center was 195 km east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan, with sustained winds of 75 km/h and gusts up to 90 km/h.

The center of tropical storm Crising was located 250 km east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
It was moving northwest toward mainland Cagayan and Babuyan Islands at 15 kph.

PAGASA said the center of Crising was located 335 kilometers east of Echague, Isabela, or 325 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City, Cagayan.
It is expected to continue moving northwestward and could make landfall over either mainland Cagayan or the Babuyan Islands this afternoon or evening.
Crising intensified into a tropical storm, with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center and gusts of up to 80 kph.

Tropical depression Crising was spotted 350 km east of Casiguran, Aurora, maintaining its maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and gusts of up to 70 kph.
It was moving northwestward at 20 kph.
11 p.m., July 17
The center of tropical depression Crising was located 460 kilometers east of Baler, Aurora, moving northwestward at 15 kph.
The storm is expected to continue moving generally northwestward over the next 24 hours, with a possible landfall over mainland Cagayan or Babuyan Islands by Friday afternoon or evening, July 18.
Afterward, it is projected to move west-northwestward, crossing the northern part of Northern Luzon before exiting the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Saturday afternoon or evening, July 19.

Crising was located 545 km east of Baler, Aurora or 335 km northeast of Virac, Catanduanes, moving west northwest at 30 kph.
PAGASA said landfall over mainland Cagayan by Friday evening, July 18, is possible, after which the cyclone will traverse the northern portion of Northern Luzon and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Saturday, July 19.

Tropical Depression Crising continues to strengthen while tracking north-northwestward over the waters east of Catanduanes, according to PAGASA.
It is forecast to make landfall in mainland Cagayan between Friday night, July 18, and early Saturday morning, July 19.
"Crising" may intensify into a tropical storm today and possibly a severe tropical storm before approaching Northern Luzon.

The center of Crising was located 535 kilometers east of Juban, Sorsogon.
PAGASA said a landfall over mainland Cagayan is possible between Friday night and early Saturday, July 19.
After landfall, Crising is forecast to traverse the northern portion of Northern Luzon and may exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility by Saturday evening or Sunday morning, July 20.

The center of tropical depression Crising was located 615 km east of Virac, Catanduanes or 630 km east of Juban, Sorsogon.
It had slightly intensified with maximum sustained winds of 55 kph and gusts of up to 70 kph. It is moving northeastward at 10 kph.
5 p.m., July 16
Crising was spotted 625 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes, and is moving west-southwestward at 20 kph.
It has maintained its maximum sustained winds of 45 kph and gusts of up to 55 kph.
PAGASA said Crising is expected to move generally westward over the next 12 hours before shifting northwestward by Thursday afternoon, July 17.
It may either pass close to or make landfall over mainland Cagayan or the Babuyan Islands between Friday evening, July 18, and early Saturday morning, July 19.

PAGASA said Crising was located 725 kilometers east of Virac, Catanduanes.
It has maximum sustained winds of 45 kph and gusts of up to 55 kph, and is moving westward at 35 kph.

The LPA east of Luzon has developed into tropical depression Crising. It is the third tropical cyclone to develop within or enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility this year, and the second for the month of July.
