This was disclosed by Palace Press Officer Claire Castro in an interview on Wednesday, July 16.
"Hindi po (No)," she said when asked if the First Lady will be among the President's delegation in his Washington visit.
The Palace official also said that Marcos will definitely bring key Cabinet officials to his trip.
"Yes may mga makakasama po siya. Hindi ko lang alam kung may authority ako to give details on that. Mas maganda po siguro yung DFA po yung tanungin po natin patungkol po sa biyahe (Yes, there will be people accompanying him. I'm just not sure if I have the authority to give details on that. It would probably be better to ask the Department of Foreign Affairs regarding the trip)," Castro said.
Marcos is set to travel to Washington, D.C., from July 20 to 22.
The President has made four trips to the US so far.
He visited Washington, D.C. in April 2024 to attend the first US-Philippines-Japan Trilateral Summit.

After the summit, the President had working visits to Los Angeles, California, and Honolulu, Hawaii, where he met business leaders and the Filipino community.
In September 2022, he went on a six-day working visit to New York City for the United Nations General Assembly, his first official visit as head of state.
In May 2023, he went on a five-day official working visit to Washington, D.C., where he met with President Joseph Biden at the White House.
