Coffee fans, all aboard the Espresso Express at SM Southmall

From signature brews to sweet pairings and live music, this 12-day coffee fest brings the Metro's favorite cafés to one spot in Las Piñas

Coffee lovers have a new reason to head south. SM Southmall is hosting Espresso Express, a 12-day festival celebrating all things coffee, running through July 20 at The Concourse on the Upper Ground Level.
The event brings together some of Metro Manila’s most popular and talked-about cafés in one place. It offers everything from bold espresso blends to specialty lattes and dessert pairings. Designed as a one-stop tasting tour, it caters to caffeine enthusiasts, casual drinkers and anyone curious about the latest trends in local coffee.
Featured names include Slide Coffee, Matchanese, Somedae Café, Brew & Co, Draft Coffee and Beanblock, each presenting their own signature drinks and crowd favorites. Guests can sample a wide range of offerings, including matcha-based beverages, banana pudding lattes and classic black brews.
To add an interactive twist, visitors can pick up a Brew Pass, a sticker card that rewards each purchase. Completing the card unlocks freebies and exclusive treats, turning every cup into a step closer to a bonus experience.
The festival atmosphere is enhanced by daily live busking performances, adding a cozy soundtrack to the scene. Coffee-themed photo spots are also set up for social media snapshots, along with mall-wide coffee promotions throughout the run.
Admission is free, and purchases are made directly from the participating vendors. Whether you’re out to try something new or revisit a favorite café, Espresso Express offers a mix of flavor, music and community.
The event continues at SM Southmall until Saturday, July 20.
