SPD arrests 97 suspects, seizes P9.48-M illegal drugs in 13 days
The Southern Police District (SPD) said its units arrested 97 suspects and seized P9.48 million worth of illegal drugs in 13 days.
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, SPD acting district director, said 68 operations were conducted from July 1 to 13.
Illegal drugs seized were 1,383.33 grams of shabu, 106.6 grams of marijuana, 31 grams of kush, 10 ecstasy tablets, and a vape containing cannabis oil.

The Taguig police recorded the highest results, arresting 25 suspects and confiscating drugs valued at P1.59 million.
Makati police placed second with P751,356 worth of seized illegal drugs, followed by Parañaque police, P1.08 million; Las Piñas police, P623,084; Muntinlupa police, P175,060; Pasay police, P282,336, and Pateros police, P40,800.
SPD’s District Drug Enforcement Unit seized illegal drugs valued at P4.93 million.
“These accomplishments demonstrated by our city police stations and the DDEU are truly commendable and stand as a strong testament to the relentless commitment of the Southern Police District in eradicating illegal drugs from our communities. Every arrest made and every gram seized brings us closer to our goal of a safer and drug-free Southern Metro,” said Arceo.
