The Taguig police arrested a 56-year-old man tagged as a high-value individual in a drug buy-bust operation on July 15.
The suspect was identified as alias Florentino who was caught with 52.5 grams of shabu worth P756,160 placed in seven plastic sachets.
Operatives from the Taguig police’s Station Drug Enforcement Unit conducted the operation at about 2:05 a.m.
Authorities also seized a genuine P500 bill used as buy-bust money and two P1,000 bills used as boodle money.
Florentino and the drugs were turned over to the Taguig police for documentation. The suspect will be charged for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002)
Brig. Gen. Randy Arceo, acting Southern Police District director, commended the police for the arrest.
