One vision, one La Salle

To strengthen scholar communities across the Lasallian network, the Lasallian Scholars Society (LSS) of De La Salle University-Manila conducted Lasallian Scholars Summit 2025 (LSSUMMIT 2025), a two-day capacity-building event held from July 11 to 12, 2025, at the DLSU-Manila campus.
The event gathered 106 high school and undergraduate scholar delegates from 12 De La Salle Philippines (DLSP) schools nationwide, alongside 79 central committee members.
With the theme “Building Lasallian Scholars Communities Across the Country,” the summit responded to the critical need of establishing and sustaining scholar-led organizations in Lasallian schools. While DLSU-Manila scholars benefit from established programs such as TutoriaLSS and regular scholar assemblies, many scholars across the DLSP network notably remain without formal organizations, facing challenges such as limited academic support, lack of peer engagement, and representation.
“It is difficult to imagine scholarly life in Manila without a scholar group,” said Zachary Que, one of the project heads of LSSUMMIT 2025. "But this is the scenario for most DLSP schools. Through LSSUMMIT 2025, we hope to change that.”
