Flying to Seoul just before the end of the Squid Game: The Experience activation in Seongsu-dong, Happee, Kristel, and Kring – along with the winners of PLDT Home’s Trip to Korea promo – wore their competitive spirits up their sleeves, determined to best them all. “Isa talaga ‘to sa mga pinakanagpakabog ng puso ko sa buong buhay ko!” Kristel shared her adrenaline-filled experience on her recent vlog,adding how it went “beyond her expectations.”
One of the most challenging moments for her was the treasure hunt. “Hindi ko alam kung ano ‘yung hahanapin ko,” she recalled.
However, she quickly made up for this loss and went all out, especially in her favorite game, “Red Light, Green Light.” “Do’n ako kinabahan,” Kristel admitted. “Kasi parang anytime pwede ako ma-out. Pero masaya, kasi ‘yun ‘yung napapanood ko sa Squid Game. Sabi ko sa sarili ko, ‘’Yun ‘yung gusto kong ma-try, if ever.’”
She nearly made it to the finals, finishing seventh. “Konting kembot na lang, andun na ako sa final round. Sobrang sayang,” the celebrity recounted.
“Hindi ganun kaswerte sa games, baka swerte sa pag-ibig?” she playfully quipped in a true rom-com fashion, a nod to her recent wedding to husband Ha Suhyuk.

Meanwhile, besties Happee and Kring amped up the summer heat with their passion and enthusiasm in the Squid Game arena. The two faced their biggest obstacles – the “Marbles” game for Happee and the “Last Supper” for Kring – before they went all out for the classics “Round and Round” and “Red Light, Green Light”, which made them truly feel like they’re inside the drama.

“Doing this is the best when you’re with people who are having fun as well,” the host happily shared.
Beating out all the competitors, Happee emerged at the top and even won against the Front Man via a game of Ddakjji towards the end. “Dream manifested siya!” she exclaimed.
“I feel so happy and so blessed and so grateful for PLDT Home for making this happen,” she added. “I got to enjoy it with people who love it, so it’s really fun. I don’t think it would’ve been fun if you weren’t with a group who really loved it.
