Foreman missing in Southern Leyte landslide

TACLOBAN CITY – A foreman was reported missing in a landslide on Sunday morning in Barangay San Ramon, San Ricardo, Southern Leyte.
The missing was identified as Dador Moscosa, 54, of 888 ACY construction.
Two houses, several motorcycles, the contractor’s barracks, a dump truck, and a mixer were damaged.
The landslide that occurred near the site of an ongoing bridge project connecting Barangay San Ramon was reportedly caused by continuous and intense rainfall from 5 p.m. on July 12 to 3 a.m. on July 13.
Authorities and residents are conducting search and rescue operation.
Several families have evacuated to nearby barangays as a precautionary measure.
