Visayan singer Debbie Lopez is thrilled as she gets birthday greetings from her celebrity crush

Rising Visayan singer and dancer Debbie Lopez got one of the biggest surprises in her life when she was greeted by her celebrity crush, JM De Guzman.
JM's greeting came when she celebrated her birthday in Quezon City recently. Debbie said she didn't expect that the award-winning actor would greet her.
In his video message, JM greeted Debbie with a happy birthday. He also hopes to meet her in person soon. 'Happy birthday. I hope to meet you in person.'
But Debbie said she knows her limit, knowing that JM is in a relationship. She recalled that JM was single when they texted each other.
'Pero ngayon wala ng pag-asa," she laughed. 'Joke lang.'
Debbie pointed out that she's not using JM for publicity. She said that she was narrating what happened to her and JM. 'He's my celebrity crush. I have no intention of using him for publicity.'
At the same event, Debbie promoted her latest single 'Higumaon Ka.' However, aside from singing, Debbie might also try acting, as she enrolled in an acting workshop with talent manager Ogie Diaz.
"After my workshop, Ogie asked me if I wanted to join showbiz. That time hindi pa ako decided noon because focused ako sa singing. Pero gusto ko rin i-try ang acting. (At that time, I hadn't decided yet because I was focused on singing. But I also wanted to try acting)," she said.
A talented DJ, Debbie has also established herself as an engaging online host. Her talent has been recognized with multiple prestigious industry awards.
Some of Debbie's awards include Asia's World-Class Filipino Awards in Aug. 2022; Asia's Triumphant Awards in Feb. 2023; Asian World Class DJ and Cosplayer of the Year, March 2023; Most Outstanding and Multi-Talented Radio DJ, Singer, and Online Host; Philippines Choice Award for Promising Recording Artist of the Year at Manila Hotel in Oct. 2023, etc.
