Man hacks father to death in Quezon

SAN ANDRES, Quezon – A 60-year-old farmer was hacked dead by his 37-year-old son during an altercation in Sitio Libirin Gamay, Barangay Tala, this town, on Thursday night, July 10.
Police identified the victim as Roger Burga.
Investigation said the victim and son Allan had a drinking session in Sitio Crossing and went home together.
A heated argument erupted when they arrived home and Allan suddenly hacked his father multiple times using a bladed weapon.
Roger died on the spot and his son fled.
A follow-up investigation and manhunt operation are ongoing.
