Jos Garcia makes a striking return to the music scene with her poignant new single, "Iiwan Na Kita."
This compelling track, masterfully composed by the renowned Rey Valera under the esteemed Sigma 54 Music label, marks their second collaboration following the success of "Nagpapanggap," which earned Jos a prestigious Star Awards Trophy.
The bond between Rey and Jos runs deep, rooted in friendship and shared passion, compelling Jos to journey back to the Philippines specifically to record this heartfelt piece in Rey's intimate recording studio.
"Iiwan Na Kita" unfolds the emotional complexity of a relationship caught in indecision, where two lovers grapple with the difficult choice of when to let go.
"It’s a song about a lover’s courage and the determination to hold on, even in the face of adversity," Jos passionately explained.
Rey played an instrumental role in shaping her performance in this latest song, as the famed composer provided personal coaching to ensure the song resonated with authenticity.
Complementing the release, the music video, beautifully shot against the serene backdrop of Kyoto, Japan—where Jos currently resides—adds a visual depth that enhances the song’s emotional narrative.
