A woman's body was found in a creek near Bocobo Bridge in Barangay Dela Paz, Antipolo City on Tuesday, July 8.
According to the initial report from the Antipolo City Police, Barangay Dela Paz officials first received a report from concerned citizens about a body floating in the creek, prompting them to proceed to the area.
Upon confirming the existence of the cadaver, barangay officials quickly sought assistance from the police.
Officials said the body, estimated to be around 30 years old, was not yet bloated and was not soaked in water yet.
Police and barangay officials said the body bore multiple stab wounds, including two in the chest, one in the side, and another in the forehead.
Authorities have yet to determine if the victim was a resident of the barangay or from another place.
The police investigation is still ongoing.
