Parañaque drug sting nets ₱680K of shabu, 2 suspects arrested

Members of the Parañaque City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (SDEU) conducted a buy-bust operation leading to the arrest of two drug suspects and confiscated P680,000 worth of drugs on July 9.
Police identified the suspects as Ian,33, and Makud, 35. They were arrested at around 5:30 p.m. along Saint Joseph St., Barangay Moonwalk, Parañaque City.
The police said SDEU operatives caught the suspects selling illegal drugs to a poseur buyer, which led to their immediate arrest.
Confiscated from the suspects were one gram of shabu worth P6,800, four sachets and one knot-tied about 96 grams worth P652,800.
The police also recovered marked buy-bust money, a coin purse, a digital weighing scale, an Android phone, a caliber .45 pistol without a serial number, and one magazine loaded with four live ammunition.
The suspects were detained at the Parañaque City Police custodial facility charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, and RA 10591 (Illegal Possession of Firearms and Ammunition).
