Korean actress Park Min-young to star in Prime Video's new series 'Confidence Queen'

Korean actress Park Min-young will star in Prime Video’s new series “Confidence Queen” together with actors Park Hee-soon, and Joo Jong-hyuk.
“Confidence Queen” is about a trio of clever swindlers who work together to take down corrupt villains through elaborate schemes.
Park Min-young plays the role of Yun Yi-rang, a brilliant woman who reinvents herself as a master con artist.
She teams up with James (Park Hee-soon) and Myung Gu-ho (Joo Jong-hyuk) to expose criminals and take their ill-gotten gains.
A combination of action and comedy, “Confidence Queen” will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories with new episodes released weekly.
A remake of the hugely popular Japanese series “The Confidence Man JP, “ the Korean series is directed by Nam Ki-hoon (“Destined with You,” “Kiss Sixth Sense”) and written by Hong Seung-hyun (“Criminal Minds,” “Cheo-Yong”).
“Confidence Queen” marks Park Min-young’s return after starring in the hit series “Marry My Husband,” which premiered on Prime Video last year.
Yi-rang is an heiress who was forced to live in the shadows due to a certain incident in her childhood. Highly intelligent with keen intuition and precise focus, Yi-rang is the perfect con artist mastermind.
She forms a team with James and Gu-ho to strip villains of their illicitly gained money and builds her own wealth.
Joo Jong-hyuk of “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” portrays Myung Gu-ho who brings heart and warmth to the team through his friendly and optimistic nature.
Veteran actor Park Hee-soon, who recently appeared in “Squid Game” season 3, portrays James, a quiet man who is happy to embark on new adventures with Yi-rang and Gu-ho.
