SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union – Suspected shabu was discovered on a road in Alaminos City, Pangasinan on July 8.
A resident found a green eco bag in Barangay Poblacion with a Chinese tea pack filled with suspected shabu.
The contraband valued at P3.4 million was surrendered to the barangay chairman.
Police and the Department of Justice (DOJ) conducted proper inventory and documentation.
Meanwhile, authorities apprehended a businessman and recovered suspected shabu worth P680,000 in a buy-bust operation on July 8 in Binalonan, Pangasinan.
The 48-year-old suspect was listed as a high-value individual in the illegal drugs trade.
Police took custody of the contraband for proper disposition.
