According to the city’s Public Information Office (PIO), five fully equipped clinics will be built in key areas in the city—Mabolo, Karuhatan, Canumay West, Lawang Bato, and Mapulang Lupa.
The hubs are set to operate seven days a week, including weekends and holidays, and will remain open regardless of weather conditions.
Each Sentro Health Hub will be staffed by rotating teams of medical and health professionals to ensure uninterrupted service.
The clinics will offer a wide range of healthcare services and will be stocked with essential medicines and medical supplies.
“Itong mga mga mega hubs na itatayo natin, bukas, maging sa mga holidays (These mega hubs that we are building will be open even on holidays),” Mayor Weslie “Wes” Gatchalian said.
“Naniniwala ako na ang healthcare ay para sa lahat, hindi ito para sa mga piling tao, para ito sa lahat (I believe that healthcare is for everyone — it is not for a select few, but for all),” he added.
Gatchalian emphasized that the new health centers will deliver comprehensive medical services and be manned by professional healthcare teams.
The 24/7 operation is designed to ensure that residents can access medical care beyond the typical weekday schedule.
“These health hubs are more than clinics—they’re part of a long-term vision to modernize our public healthcare system,” the mayor said.
“Health should never take a day off,” he added.
This initiative is part of the city’s broader effort under the “This is Life, Valenzuelife” campaign, which focuses on improving essential services and overall quality of life.
The creation of the Sentro Health Hubs was among the highlights of Gatchalian’s recent State of the Health Address (SOHA) on July 1.
In his speech, he reiterated the city’s commitment to making healthcare accessible, affordable, and dignified, ensuring that no Valenzuelano is left behind.
