P4.8-M marijuana products seized in Marikina drug sting, 3 arrested

Three men tagged as high-value individuals (HVIs) and wanted for illegal drugs were nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Marikina Heights, Marikina City early Tuesday morning, July 8.

According to the Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG), the three were collared inside a house on Champaca Street where a police poseur buyer was able to purchase illegal drugs from the suspects at around 4 a.m.
Police recovered 3,239 grams of high-grade marijuana or kush and 30 grams of dried marijuana leaves worth P4,862,100 from the suspects.
The suspects were brought to the Special Operations Unit (SOU) headquarters of the PNP-DEG in Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City, and are facing illegal drugs charges.
