Nestor Tan, Fabian Dee re-elected to lead BancNet

BancNet Inc. has reelected Nestor V. Tan as Chairman of the Board and Fabian S. Dee as President for the 2025-2026 term, signaling continuity in its leadership as the electronic banking consortium reported robust operational and financial growth in 2024.
Tan, who also serves as president and CEO of BDO Unibank, was reelected as BancNet's chairman, while Dee, president and CEO of Metrobank, was reelected as BancNet's president.
Meanwhile, Reginaldo B. Cariaso, president and CEO of RCBC, was elected treasurer.
The BancNet board also saw the election of 16 directors from major Philippine banks for the 2025-2026 term, including Michelangelo C. Aguilar (Bank of Commerce), Reynaldo C. Burgos (PNB), Reginaldo B. Cariaso (RCBC), Grace Lovely V. Dayo (Land Bank of the Philippines), Michael O. De Jesus (Development Bank of the Philippines), Fabian S. Dee (Metrobank), Ana Maria A. Delgado (Union Bank of the Philippines), Kathleen Charmaine H. Hernandez (Standard Chartered Bank), John Howard D. Medina (Philippine Bank of Communications), John Cary L. Ong (Security Bank), Albert T. Reyes (AUB), Alexander G. Seminiano (Bank of the Philippine Islands), Manuel C. Tagaza (China Banking Corp.), Nestor V. Tan (BDO), and Ajay Verma (Equicom Savings Bank).
The board also appointed members of the Operations Committee, tasked with translating policy into day-to-day execution. Key appointees to this committee came from institutions including the Bank of the Philippine Islands, the Philippine National Bank, Union Bank of the Philippines, and Security Bank.
A full slate of company officers was named to oversee operations, risk, compliance, technology, and administration. The BancNet officials for 2025–2026 are: Elmarie S. Reyes as CEO; Agnes H. Maranan as Corporate Secretary; Jennie F. Lansang as Chief Information Officer; Arnel G. Lim as Chief Audit Executive; Mabelyn M. Tagasa as Deputy CIO; Roel Dennis S. Tan as Chief Risk and Compliance Officer; Roseanne T. Tan as Head of Business and Relationship Management; Maricelle P. Austria as Head of Human Resources and Administration; Myra A. Privado as Head of Program and Quality Management; and Jonalyn V. Villasin as Financial Controller.
