Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon suspended face-to-face classes in all levels in public schools scheduled on July 9 due to flash floods.
Heavy rains in Muntinlupa flooded areas including in front the city hall, Bruger Street in Barangay Putatan, and portions of the West Service Road.
To give our citizens affected by tonight's flash floods the opportunity to repair their belongings and clean their homes, we are declaring the suspension of face to face classes at all levels in public schools in Muntinlupa City tomorrow, July 9, 2025),” Biazon announced on July 8.
Public school students are advised to contact their teachers for the alternative mode of learning.
For private schools, the mayor said, the decision on classes is up to the management.
The mayor advised people to call 137-175 for emergencies.
