Graduating aeronautics student killed in motorcycle crash

BACOLOD CITY – A 23-year-old graduating aeronautics student was killed in a motorcycle crash in Barangay Mabini, Pulupandan, Negros Occidental on Sunday, July 6.
Police identified the victim as Christian, a resident of Barangay Zone 7, Pulupandan.
Investigation said the victim and his two companions were driving their motorcycles when his friends overtook a car.
However, the victim hit the rear of the car.
The victim was wearing a helmet but sustained severe injuries and was declared dead in a hospital.
The 34-year-old car driver, a resident of Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, voluntarily surrendered to the police.
The victim was studying in Manila and was supposed to graduate this year.
