K-pop boy band AHOF's 'Who We Are' tops weekly album chart
K-pop boy band AHOF on SBS' "Inkigayo" (X)
New K-pop boy band AHOF (All-time Hall Of Famer) topped the weekly album chart in South Korea with their debut album.
AHOF made their debut on July 1 with the album “Who We Are” and composed of Steven, Jeongwoo, Chih En, Han, Woongki, Shuaibo, Daisuke, Juwon and Filipino singer JL.
According to Korea’s Hanteo Chart, AHOF’s “Who We Are” ranked No. 1 on the weekly album chart covering the period June 30 to July 6.
During the chart period, “Who We Are” sold a total of 345,529 copies or an equivalent of 252,219 points in physical record index to bag first place.
Hanteo Chart uses its proprietary physical record index (a combination of album sales and price) to rank albums.
“Who We Are” ranked No. 1 on Hanteo Chart’s daily physical album chart for four days on July 1, 2, 5 and 6.
In the last week, AHOF promoted their main track “Rendezvous” on various Korean TV music shows including KBS 2TV’s “Music Bank” and SBS’ “Inkigayo.”
In addition, AHOF’s music video for “Rendevous” has garnered 26.7 million views on YouTube as of this writing since its release on July 1.
AHOF previously told Manila Bulletin that they were very excited to finally make their debut in South Korea.
