The Pasay City lone public hospital, Pasay City General Hospital (PCGH), received maternal and baby equipment from the Rotary Foundation Global Grant under the “Love and Care for Mother and Baby” on July 5.
Pasay City Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano stated that the hospital received infant incubators, ventilators, transport ventilators, patient monitors, electric operating tables, loop electrosurgical excision procedure (LEEP) devices, video laryngoscopes, and other essential hospital supplies.
Rubiano thanked Herminio Esguerra and Joyce Michelle Loyola Ambray Maternal and Child Health Directed Gift, headed by the Rotary International District 3810, Philippines, Rotary Club of Manuel A. Roxas Boulevard, Rotary International District 2820, Japan, and Rotary Club of Ushiku.
She said the equipment donations are a big help in modernizing the city’s public hospital in taking care of the mother and the baby.
“In behalf of the countless lives that you will be extending and making better, not only through these supplies and machines, but also with your genuinely good intentions and prayers -- we thank all of you from the bottom of our hearts. You are such great blessings to our Pasayeños' lives,” Rubiano said.
