P1.3M shabu seized from two high-value targets in Caloocan buy-bust

Authorities seized over P1.3 million worth of alleged shabu from two high-value individuals (HVIs) during a buy-bust operation in Barangay 188, Tala, Caloocan City on Friday, July 4.

Police identified the suspects as “Amo,” 42, and his 19-year-old companion, both residents of Barangay 188.
Operatives from the Caloocan City Police Station Drug Enforcement Unit (CCPS-DEU), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), conducted the entrapment operation at around 5:47 p.m.
Seized from the suspects were 205 grams of suspected shabu valued at P1,394,000, along with the marked buy-bust money.
The suspects will face charges for violation of Republic Act No. 9165, also known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
Northern Police District (NPD) Director Brig. Gen. Jose Hidalgo Jr. commended the CCPS operatives for their swift response and unwavering commitment to combating illegal drugs.
