Las Piñas LGU distributes school supplies to 850 students

The Las Piñas City government distributed school supplies to 850 students on Friday, July 4, as part of its ongoing effort to assist children from low-income families and ease the financial burden of back-to-school expenses.

Mayor April Aguilar led the distribution held at the Mayor Nene Aguilar DRRMO Building in Talon Dos. The initiative is part of the educational assistance program under the City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO).
Joining the mayor during the event were Sangguniang Kabataan Federation Chairperson Rey Angelo Reyes and CSWDO head Lowefe Romulo.

Aguilar said that beyond easing the financial strain on families, the program also aims to promote preparedness and motivate students to study harder.
She added that the annual program reflects the city’s continued commitment to education and youth development, aligned with her administration’s priority of providing accessible opportunities and essential support for every Las Piñero family.
