San Juan City receives COA's unmodified opinion for 2024 — Mayor Francis

San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora announced on Friday, July 4, that the city has received the Commission on Audit's (COA) unmodified opinion for the year 2024, in recognition of the city government's strict efforts in ensuring transparency and fairness in all its financial statements and records.
“Ibig sabihin, kinilala ng mga tagasuri ng COA na ang mga ulat pinansyal ng Lungsod ay maayos, tapat, at sumusunod sa mga naaangkop na pamantayan, kabilang ang International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) (This means that COA auditors have determined that the City's financial reports are fair, honest, and comply with applicable standards, including the International Public Sector Accounting Standards),” Zamora said.
“Ang tagumpay na ito ay patunay ng patuloy na dedikasyon ng Lungsod sa mahusay na pamamahala, transparency, at pananagutan sa publiko (This achievement is a testament to the dedication of the city government in providing excellent governance, transparency, and accountability to the public),” he added.
