BACOLOD CITY – An unidentified man was found buried in a sugarcane field in Barangay Salvacion, Murcia, Negros Occidental on Thursday, July 3.
Police Major Sherwin Fernandez, Murcia police chief, said that initial findings showed signs of strangulation.
However, no other injuries were seen in the victim’s body, pending post-mortem examination, he added.
A farmer plowing the field noticed foul odor and discovered the decomposing body.
