HUAWEI launches the new MatePad Pro 12.2", includes Tandem OLED PaperMatte Display and GoPaint app
HUAWEI boasts new PC-level performance tablet with the MatePad Pro 12.2 (2025).
It is a device for both productivity and creativity. The HUAWEI Glide Kayboard includes a charging cradle for the HUAWEI M-Pencil for easy charging and stowing. The tablet comes with WPS Office Suite 2.0, which is the next best thing you can have to work on documents. HUAWEI boasts the new MatePad Pro is powerful enough to run seamlessly three apps.
One of the MatePad Pro's standout features is its Tandem OLED PaperMatte Display, which gives the screen a near paper-like texture. And personally? It makes using the M-Pencil all the more fun.
The matte-style display also offers anti-glare protection, so you can stay productive, even under direct sunlight.
HUAWEI boasts the M-Pencil has over 16,000 levels of pressure sensitvity. It's like putting pen to paper. But that's something for you to decide.
HUAWEI is proud to continue pushing for their GoPaint app, a drawing app for creatives to explore. HUAWEI calls this app the portable studio. The app is free and built-in. It now features a 3D Oil Painting and True Color brushes, which, HUAWEI claims, would replicate the texture feel of painting on a canvas.
The updated GoPaint app can now also be used to create simple animations, such as storyboards and moving caricatures. The app also offers tutorials to help users.
The HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.2 will be launched this July. So stay tuned for official updates.
