San Juan City suspends afternoon classes due to habagat
The San Juan City local government announced the suspension of afternoon classes in all levels on Thursday, July 3, due to heavy rains caused by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), Mayor Francis Zamora said.
Classes will be suspended by 12 p.m. to ensure the safety of students and school staff.

He also urged the public to monitor his official Facebook page and other official channels of the city government for other announcements.
As of 9:30 a.m., the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) issued a Heavy Rainfall Warning in Metro Manila and other provinces including Pampanga, Bulacan, Rizal, Cavite, Batangas, and Laguna.
The agency said this level of rainfall may cause flooding in low-lying or flood-prone areas.
