Muntinlupa mayor suspends afternoon classes

Muntinlupa Mayor Ruffy Biazon suspended afternoon classes in all levels in public and private schools on July 3 due to a forecast of heavy rains.
'Ayon sa forecast ng PAGASA [Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration] at Muntinlupa DDRM [Muntinlupa City Department of Disaster Resilience and Management], inaasahan ang mas malakas na pag-ulan mula 11:00 AM ngayong araw. Dahil dito, suspended ang afternoon classes sa lahat ng antas (public at private schools) sa Muntinlupa City ngayong July 3, 2025, Huwebes, simula 12:00 PM (According to the forecast of PAGASA and Muntinlupa DDRM, heavy rains are expected from 11:00 AM today. Because of this, afternoon classes in all levels (public and private schools) in Muntinlupa City are suspended this July 3, 2025, Thursday, starting at 12:00 PM),” Biazon announced.

He also suspended all kindergarten classes in Muntinlupa.
Morning classes will continue as scheduled, which was recommended by the Schools Division Office of Muntinlupa.
