Las Pinas gov't suspends classes due to bad weather

Las Piñas City Mayor April Aguilar ordered the suspension of classes in all levels, both in public and private schools, on July 3 due to heavy rains brought about by the southwest monsoon (Habagat).
Aguilar ordered the immediate suspension of classes at around 9:00 a.m. to ensure the safety of students, teachers, and its employees.
She also told residents not to leave their homes unless they had something important to attend to outside.
The mayor also asked residents to be on alert and check the latest bulletin on the weather updates from the Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office.
