Carbnb appoints new regional leaders and expands nationwide to support growing tourism

Carbnb, the Philippines' pioneering car rental platform, is ramping up its expansion with a new leadership team and a strategic focus on the growing tourism sector. The expansion comes at a time when both local tourism and regional travel demand are on the rise, and Carbnb aims to meet these needs head-on.
To lead this next phase of growth, Carbnb has appointed Bianca Angeles as Business Development Director, Ace Arvin Guevarra as General Manager for Luzon Operations, Rodel Alambatin as Director for Visayas Operations, and Chiara Laguidong as Director for Mindanao Operations. Their combined expertise will play a critical role in scaling the company’s operations in Visayas and Mindanao, regions experiencing significant economic growth and an uptick in tourism.

With a fleet of over 600 vehicles, including environmentally friendly electric vehicles (EVs), Carbnb is already making waves in cities like Cebu and Davao. This year, Carbnb aims to have more than 1,000 vehicles in its fleet nationwide to accommodate the fast growing need for its service. The company offers a broad range of vehicles—from hatchbacks and sedans to SUVs, vans, and pickups—catering to the diverse needs of travelers. As part of its commitment to sustainability, Carbnb is also leading the charge by offering EVs, ensuring that customers have access to eco-friendly and cost-effective transportation options.
The company’s expansion into the Visayas and Mindanao regions is well-timed to capitalize on the growing tourism industry in the Philippines. By providing flexible and convenient car rental options, Carbnb is positioning itself as a key enabler of travel and tourism, both for Filipinos exploring their own country and for international visitors. This expansion not only meets the rising demand for accessible transportation but also helps stimulate the local economy by offering car owners an opportunity to earn extra income by renting out their vehicles on the Carbnb platform.

Aside from its expansion in Visayas and Mindanao, Carbnb also recently opened its new branches in Pasay and Parañaque City in addition to its numerous branches in the greater Metro Manila area to make their services more convenient to their growing customer base.
