"Squid Game" season 3 premiere at Paris Theatre (Netflix)
Netflix announced that “Squid Game” season 3 set records upon its release on the streaming platform last June 27.
“Squid Game” season 3 debuted at No. 1 with 60.1 million views among non-English shows on Netflix’s official weekly Global Top 10 of the most viewed shows and films for the period June 23 to 29.
“It ranked #1 in every one of the 93 countries where we have top 10 lists, the first time a show has ever achieved this in its debut week, and broke the record for most views for a show in its first three days [from June 27 to 29],” Netflix announced on July 2.
Season 3 is No. 1 in 93 countries and territories, including the Philippines, US and Canada

Netfli added, “With both Seasons 2 and 3, ‘Squid Game’ becomes the only show ever to make the Most Popular List in its first week,” debuting at No. 9.
In addition, “Squid Game” season 2 ranked No. 3 with 2.8 million views while “Squid Game” season 1 is No. 6 with 1.7 million views for the chart period June 23 to 29.
