Marcos taps Asec. Rafaelito Alejandro IV as Office of Civil Defense OIC
Malacañang disclosed that President Marcos has designated Assistant Secretary Rafaelito Alejandro IV as the officer-in-charge of the Office of Civil Defense (OCD).

It was announced by Palace Press Officer and Communications Undersecretary Claire Castro in a briefing on Wednesday, July 2.
“Opo. Mayroon pong naitalaga na OIC, ito po ay si Assistant Secretary Rafaelito Alejandro IV. Siya po ang OIC ngayon sa Office of the Civil Defense (Yes. There is already a designated OIC, he is Assistant Secretary Rafaelito Alejandro IV. He will be the Office of the Civil Defense's OIC),” Castro said.
The change in leadership came after President Marcos appointed OCD's administrator Ariel Nepomuceno as the new commissioner of the Bureau of Customs (BOC).
Alejandro is the OCD’s deputy administrator for administration.
