Local gov't begins drainage, clearing operation vs flooding in Paranaque City
The city government of Paranaque City conducted a drainage inspection and clearing operation to avoid flooding this rainy season and ensure cleanliness around the city.
The City Environment and Natural Resources Office (CENRO) team headed by Bernie Amurao, together with Mayor Edwin Olivarez and City Administrator Atty. Ding Soriano, led the inspection and clearing operation.

Olivarez said the CENRO team visited Quirino Avenue, Baclaran on July 1 and cleared all the drainage in the area of garbage.
He said the CENRO team was joined by personnel from the Traffic Parking and Management Office (TPMO) led by its chief, Rey Murillo, and City Engineer Meriam Parungao, in the clearing operations along the stretch of Dr. A. Santos Avenue, Sucat Road on July 2.
The mayor said the drainage inspection and clearing operation will continue in main roads and other barangays around the city in the coming days.
