2 high-value drug suspects arrested, yield P1.1-M shabu in Taguig

Police arrested a woman and a man tagged as high value drug suspects in two separate buy-bust operations on July 1.

In a buy-bust operation in Barangay Lower Bicutan, the Taguig police arrested a suspect identified as alias Arlen, 49. She was nabbed at her residence at 11:40 a.m. in the same barangay.

The police seized a plastic sachet and a plastic bag containing shabu weighing 111.2 grams valued at P756,160, a marked P500 bill used buy-bust money, and 12 pieces of boodle money in P1,000 bill denominations.

Arlen will face a complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002).

In Barangay Pembo, Taguig, the police arrested alias Heven, 33, during a buy-bust operation.

Seized by the police were eight plastic sachets containing shabu weighing 53.53 grams valued at P357,204, a genuine P500 bill used as buy-bust money, and six pieces of P1,000 boodle money.

He will also face a complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165.
