Police Col. Giusseppe Geraldo, representing Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region Director Police Brig. Gen. Jeysen de Guzman, presided over the turnover ceremony in Camp Datu Akilan in Shariff Aguak.
In his acceptance speech, Sapal highlighted Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Police Gen. Nicolas Torre III’s “five-minute response time” program, aiming to restore the true essence of police service to the community.
“As your new provincial director, I am giving my number to the public so they can directly report any police officer who fails to do their duty or acts unprofessionally,” Sapal said. “This is part of our commitment to restore public trust and ensure that the police truly serve the community.”
The event was witnessed by Fahad Candao, National Police Commission-Bangsamoro director, and other local officials. (PNA)
