'Multitalented': Jay Park performs with Maymay Entrata at his world tour in Manila

Korean-American rapper Jay Park captivated the audience at his world tour in Manila and performed with Filipino singer and actress Maymay Entrata as his special guest.
Park held his Serenades & Body Rolls World Tour in Manila on June 28 at the New Frontier Theater.
The last time that he held a solo show in Manila was in 2019 through this Sexy 4eva World Tour held at the same venue.
Before Entrata performed, Park introduced her to the audience.
“She can sing, she can dance, she can act. She’s a comedian. She’s a model. She’s everything. Multitalented,” he said.
Entrata performed “Paradise” as her solo spot.
“I would like to say thank you ‘po’ for inviting me, Mr. Jay Park. Live Nation for having me here po talaga.. At tsaka yung crowd grabe kayo. Grabe yung energy ng crowd,” she said after her performance.
Later, Entrata joined Park in his performance of “Keep It Sexy (Mommae 2),” a song that he released this year.
She took to Instagram to again thank Park and Live Nation Philippines.
“I just want to express my deepest thanks to @moresojuplease and @livenationph for having me po it’s truly an honor to be part of such an iconic concert alongside an iconic artist Big love as well to Mr. @njonthetrack_ Mr. @bret.jackson and the entire TMP team @themediaportalstudios, along with my amazing dancer @axis_ph, for elevating my performance and making everything sound and feel even better on stage po,” she wrote.
Concert
Park is a well-known figure in the Korean hip-hop scene. After being in a K-pop boy band, he launched a solo career.
He is also a businessman. He founded AOMG and co-founded H1GHR Music Records. He established his own label More Vision.
Park has his own soju (distilled liquor) brand Won Soju through his company Wonspirits Co. Ltd.
At his Manila concert, Park opened his show with “OhX3” followed by “Drive,” “My Last,” “Like I Do” and “Candy.”
He also performed “Yacht,” “Ganadara,” “Need to Know,” “Yesterday,” “Dank,” “Why,” “Give Me a Minute,” “100 Days,” “Mayday,” “Solo,” “All I Wanna Do,” “DNA,” “McNasty,” “Mommae,” “Nothin On You” and “Joah.”
Throughout the show, Park kept saying the expression “Boom Panes!,” which became a trend in the Philippines years ago.
“Boom Panes! I learned some Tagalog and I was like ‘Boom Panes!.’ It’s old,” he said.
He added, “Thank you guys for the energy. Mahal kita. Thank you guys for coming out. Hoping to come back more often, connect with you guys, eat with chicken adobo.”
“I appreciate you guys sharing this moment with me and supporting me for, you know, how many years you have been supporting me. I appreciate you all. There’s much more to come,” he said.
He said an idol group will be launched next year.
“They’re like little mes but bigger than me,” he said.
After performing “The Purge,” Park sang “Who You” and went down to the audience area.
“Philippines, mahal kita! Maraming salamat (Philippines, I love you! Thank you!) Boom Panes!” he said as he ended the show.
